Seriously considering the Front Runner racks from Pelfreybilt. Can't believe how expensive that brand is though!

It's either that or the Prinsu Design rack.

How do you like the build quality on this Front Runner?

    It's a brick shithouse.

Never had a comparable product before, but I have zero complaints, and every component came with a hand signed card from the employee who handled it.

Touch of service I've only experienced before with Les Baer 1911s, and I really love that small detail/personal experience type of shit.

    10/10 would recommend.

Cool. It's just difficult thinking that a Prinsu cab rack and canopy rack would cost about the same as JUST the Front Runner cab rack. I mean based on MSRP I'm looking at $1,900 for both racks. That doesn't even include any of the mounting accessories I'd want for the racks (Hi-Lift, spare tire, Rotopax, etc). Just crazy expensive stuff.

    I'd be happy with either.

I have a friend with the Prinsu cab rack and it vibrates in the wind and makes some noise because of it.

The Frontrunner has no issues with that, it is seriously stout.

I'd love a full length version, but got this one BNIB for a steal.

LOL Mine is getting there. I want to do the 42" Plano case on the roof rack. Put the Rotopax up there. Maybe do the spare tire up top too.

Wind noise is already an issue with a stock Taco. LOL - My Snorkel and antennas create a little too. Especially with a crosswind going I can hear the wind a bit. Did last night!

I just need to figure out the roof rack thing sooner than later. It's all about $$$ though. Trying to plan a trip with my gal this summer that will probably require putting her RTT on my roof temporarily.

Also need to build a bed platform so I have some 'in floor' storage under the Snugtop. That way the dog can ride in back and not get into my shiznit.

@tacomgee has a cabrac with recovery treads, Plano case.. not sure how loud it is.

Probably quieter than his 35s, and the sound of women dropping straight to the ground when he drives by!

I know that feeling man. Removing my K&N CAI was the best thing I ever did. When your GF is talking to you and you begin to accelerate and she has to stop talking entirely until you hit cruising speed....

Never realized how stupid loud it was until I took it OFF the truck. Plus it made a rattling noise that made me think I had an engine ping. So glad I got in on tcBob's snorkel GB and had to take the K&N off. lol
