    your are right there isnt a need, but it DOES NOT cause any harn… and this method is also reversible...

    Bend that relay leg back to put it back in your stock location and its going to break.

    Yes there is no harm in the fuse but its also a waste of resources.

    I will say this mod was one I took inspiration from for my fog light mod so thanks op !! :)

    I tried this mod while I retrofitted my headlights and my relay began to make a loud buzzing noise so I bent the relay blade back and its fine, didn't brake just have to be easy with it

    Gents, In the OP's thread he demonstrates grinding the male clip end sides with a dremmel to get it to fit the female end in the fuze box slot. That's not a requirement. You can get the male connector clips at Radio Shack that are already narrow in width and pop right in.:cool:

    Yes.... If you get smaller ones that fit you right, it's not required to grind it... The smaller ones that I found that day not only were more norrow which would have been great but they were also shorter and I wanted a little more contact. .. Therefore u used wider and longer ones and trimmed them to fit

You are correct in that statement:) I didn't have a dremmel tool, so I took the pre-fab'd route on a wing and a prayer...haha It all came out good though and I appreciate your post and time in putting it together! I initially installed the in-line fuse wire as depicted and when I turned on the Taco to check the lights...nadda.. I pulled a Homer Simpson and didn't realize that there wasn't a fuze in the holder that I had purchased...lmao! Wondered why it didn't work at first.:) Anyways, another quick trip to the "Shack" fixed that. Works like a charm! Thanks Bro!:cool:

I only have 1 question, through all the threads and different posts on this mod I remember reading somewhere that at some point your lights may come on for 90 seconds.....is that for older models...all models who do this mod???
