I'm trying my hardest to get the spare parts lined up and skid plates on.

I've never been to Moab so it's getting pretty exciting as time counts down.

 

yes happy about LowRange they are just down the street from my house and love going in there cause i always find new ways to spend my money but they are also super helpful. who is the rep coming from them?

 

While I wouldn't want to pursuade anyone from picking up spare parts, (cause they're very good to have and you need to have em!) if that's the only thing keeping you from going, I wouldn't sweat it too much unless you know that your truck has issues or you're known for loving the skinny pedal too much. If that's the case, fix it before going out there as it's always nicer to fix your rig in a driveway at home rather than out in the middle of nowhere laying in the dirt.

Between everyone that is out there and the comradery that exists, there will be just about every spare part needed. Chances are if you're in need, are a nice guy, and ask nicely, most people will give you the spare part as long as you pay them back later with another part or cash for them to go buy another part. There are a few part stores in Moab, too.

 

My minor front suspension change should commence in a week or two. So I hope everything goes right so I can make it.

 

Not sure who is coming out for them. Dan has been the main contact thus far, but we'll be ironing out all the details next week.

Apparently Jeep Safari rates top of the world as a "difficult" trail.

I would say it's moderate at best, but definitely not difficult. I guess they do that due to the number of people they have that show up to that event and have never wheeled their shiney new and lifted jeep. Silly Jeeps

Very nice, that view looks the same as the lookout on Porcupine rim, just rotated around the La Sal's about 90 degrees.

starting the trip out in the SW corner of Utah with zion, paria and grand canyon visits...

looking to board the dog out there for a few days while we explore, then head to moab probably tuesday afternoon

 

GC is always fun, especially if you have the time to hike in!

 

we both been there once before, but we were much younger..

main goal is to see the wave with zion and GC as the plan B's for the days that we can't get into the wave (hopefully get in at least one day on the north)

the way i see it though we have friday afternoon, saturday, sunday and monday full day to explore...then pick dog up tuesday morning and head north..

 

Sounds awesome man, that was my trip home last year, at least Z and the GC
