Dropping off my 2013 Tacoma / 4cyl with 50000 miles at the dealerhship this evening to have 3 recalls done

exhaust pipe replacement for catalytic converter
    accessory wheels label
1 other thing I cant recall

also going to have them check the driveline as I have a vibration/shutter when accelerating and coming to a stop; feeling like the ujoints could be work.

Anything else I should ask them to check while there and hopefully covered under the recall and 60k mile powertrain warranty?

That's an important one to have done.

    What does that even mean?

Let us know about this mystery recall. I also have a '13, but only the exhaust has come my way. Maybe because I'm just a 5 lug.

60k is one thing; I'm only at 20k. But what about time? A '13 is almost 5yrs old now. I thought the time was 3 years?

I think my 2014 had that. If you bought your Taco with TRD wheels, the tire pressure sticker in the door jamb was wrong. Maybe OP will clarify.

Gotcha. Wow. Glad that recalled that bad boy. They'd faint over all the aftermarket wheel/tire changes.

One is the door jamb label, one is for an exhaust pipe and one is for brake actuator programming. I will update once I get it back

Just picked up my Tacoma from the dealer; very good experience. Tire label, software update for the ECU and exhaust pipe. I asked them to check a driveline vibration and when he called, he told me he had ordered a new drive shaft, ujoints and center bearing..all under warranty. He called back about two minutes after that and asked me if I had it serviced lately..I thought, here we go..the upsell...turns out I had two free oil changes and tire rotations on my warranty. Truck drives great!

A little of this and a little of that.
I'll have to look into the exhaust pipe recall. I bought my '13 used.

Hmmm. What is this ECU update of which you speak?

Any specifics on a VIN range or production dates? I'm not seeing it under my '13's list of things.

Do most of these apply for the 2014 model as well? I never receive any notifications in the mail, despite having my address changed at the dealership

Wondering if this is 4wd related. I don't see that recall on my lowly 5 lug. Which is fine by me. I just don't want to miss out on important stuff.

Has anyone ever have knock sensor wiring harness repaired? I have a 2013 Tacoma and this is the second time in 2 yrs that the engine/ trac off lights have come on . The guy at the auto shop stoat replaced it the first time Jan. 10,2022 was charged $2000.00 for that repair now he says it’s the same thing again and this time it’s $3177.00. I was floored he is crazy.
