This is the box that the subwoofer was shipped with. I will end up going with the custom enclosure. I will be keeping this enclosure as a spare in case I ever move the system to another vehicle.

Alright guys. Today I got word from Mr. Marv he would be starting my enclosure soon. So I took out the storage bins behind the rear passenger seats. I've also precut and tucked some speaker wires. Already pushed the power wire through the firewall and tucked that as well. Will be waiting ong some more stuff coming but here are some components I plan to use:

    image.jpg
    My JL tw5image.jpg
    2 old school 6.5 MB quart Q seriesimage.jpg
Some MB quart z line tweeters that came with some crossovers but I actually have another pair of MB Quay crossovers coming from an online order. image.jpg
Sound Magus x1502 this baby has some power from an old setup I had image.jpg
Old school PPI pc275 to amplify my components.

Just an overall update please feel free to let me know your thoughts.

So today I mounted my mb quart 6.5 won't lie I broke a few clips.

The speakers don't seem too loud right now but I'm hoping they'll be screaming once I amplify them.

Was wondering if I chop off the stock tweeter (because I want to run my aftermarket. Will would it be correct if I do the following:
loc tap to front speakers. Wire tonthe amp. Amp to crossover. Crossover to tweeter. Would that be correct ?

^ that's correct. Signal needs to go through a crossover before going to the tweeter to filter out the lows.

So I hooked up the power wire and grounded my amps

1 issue. The amp that was supposed to go to the subwoofer isn't lighting up. I think it may have received some damage when I was in an accident in my previous car.

2nd issue from the 2 6.5 mb quarts they are pushing out some static and cuttibg in and out.

    Any input would be appreciated:
Tapped loc to speakers behind head unit
Though I did not tap the ground for the loc there are 2 black wires for ground on each side of the loc. Do I ground them together each one to a different spot?

Rca to amp. Amp to crossover. Crossover to mids/ speaker

I love those sound magnus amps!
Have sold quite a few of the 5 channel amps to people here as it has a 500wrms sub channel :)

Hi i loved this amp pushing 1500 rms on a 15 inch ported. Literally hearing me a block or 2 away easy.

I will be double checking my wires tomorrow. Hopefully I just overlooked something and the amp is in working condition. Fingers crossed.

Hi. System is up and running. Was getting dark out so I didn't get to play with the tuning. Too much. Just waiting on my Mr. Marv box., mounting amps and I'm all set

    Hi guys.
So my dad and I made an amp rack today to go along with the custom enclosure by @Mr Marv. Just a few finishing touches left such as ordering a shorter rca and some more wire tucking but I'm pretty much doneIMG_5773.jpg
