It's possible there were a lot of buyers for the 2012 TRD Sport with the 18" chrome clad wheels, leading Toyota to think people liked chrome...

    making that 103 deg's fee like a cool 101deg's. L0L

but, remember...I'm in Florida, even when it's cold the humidity is near 100%. Land-o-schweddy...

last time I had a walnut under the junk was when I visited family up north in the winter.:laugh:

Hater or not I'm really surprised by this. I don't know the numbers and don't flame me if I'm wrong but don't they sell more Sports than Off Roads? Seems like it since I see more Sports on the road. (not counting the SR5's)

But with that new pricing not having any TRD listed, makes me wonder what is in store? Surely they wouldn't drop the features from the TRD's being the painted bumpers/grills, locker, and the seats? Makes me think they have a totally new name for a package coming up.

LOL! Thankfully our humidity isn't quite that high. But still 60% at times. I can't mow the grass unless it's 7:00 a.m.

I believe many here are overreacting...

as noted earlier in the thread, it appears the sport package "upgrade" is to be discontinued.

not necessarily the sport package option itself.

I do believe a "Limited" option/package will be available for Tacoma in the near future (Tundra/4Runner have it). but I'm not sure it will replace the sport package option, or the off road option...and can almost guarantee it will not replace the SR5 option.
