Nice catch KB, I was in a hurry and forgot I changed my letters. :anonymous:

I have now CORRECTED the above post, but for some reason, the forum won't delete my old photo when I edit and put the correct one in. I've even deleted the post, refreshed the browser, etc. SO, I'm putting it here to show the correct lettering and photo. The above post has the language text correct but doesn't match the photo. If it doesn't get fixed, I'm just going to delete the photo and it'll be here. :notsure:

I also changed the .pdf so it is correct now.

Sorry for dredging up a year old post, but the info detailed here confirms something I have been questioning.....

You can build a wiring harness that takes the stock head unit output to an aftermarket amp and then pipe that amp output back to the stock wiring harness that feeds the speakers.

Can anybody confirm if the wiring details shown here (in the PDF file) will work "as is" for a 2016 non-JBL?

Also I have noticed the original poster and a few of the contributors did not want to have a DSP (LC7i) in the loop, but that would still be possible, just need to modify the harness into two pieces basically, wouldn't it be?

Where are the headliner speakers? I was completely unaware of anything except the front door speakers and tweeters in my 14 access cab off road

I haven't pulled my headliner down yet but, based on sound (pushing all to the rear speakers), they appear to be just behind the front seats and toward the outside of the cab. (They are the worst sounding, most worthless set of car speakers I've ever heard, BTW!)

This is what I'm going with. I wanted something that could be removed and I wanted it to fit in the rear footwells. This way I can put a platform in the rear but still move things around if I want. It's a perfect fit. I'll run 2 of these.
