Super White Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net hooks and Cargo Net, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer)
Not sure if you have tried this and whether or not it will restore the camera, but my unit (Entune+) occasionally freezes: no response from the buttons, no touch screen. (Radio still plays) The fix is to power it off and then hold the power button until it re-sets/re-starts.

Another thing you might try is to disconnect the camera connector behind the bumper (the one that's there in the event you want to remove the tailgate) and re-connect it a couple of times. Pretty hostile environment back there where it is located.

FWIW, I haven't had any problems with my camera on mine, but a lot of folks in here have reported them. It surprises me because the one I have is a Panasonic unit and they usually make excellent audio products.

Is there a straightforward option for the 2005-2011 trucks? Aftermarket head unit that has the capability of receiving a camera input.

To bet installed: bling grill, headlights, fog lights.
    Search boss brand on crutchfield.

I got the cheapest one that came with a camera. CD is kinda grumpy. Everything else is good.

Sorry, I meant I have an aftermarket radio that can accept a camera. I was wondering if there were any straight forward tailgate latch or similar type setups for a camera on the 2005-2011s.

Input on the head is RCA? If so should be easy to find one. I’d go for a license plate mount. It’s going to get road goo all over the lens, so I would also go cheap on the cam. Just make sure to get one with long enough wiring.

Appreciate it. I was just hoping someone knew of a camera solution in the tailgate handle for the early 2nd Gens. I really like that option with the elevated view.

Any recommendations best high resolution aftermarket back up camera?
Mine original was stolen with tailgate.
Also can someone give dimensions and size for holes in tailgate for cable.

Anyone successfully installed front camera as well?
Can't find out best place to mount it

Was a while ago but I think I went to Camera Source for my rear camera & cable. I have a custom grill and mounted my front at the bottom edge with the camera poking through a hex opening with the bracket hiding behind the grill. I need a new camera for it though because it’s gone hazy(different supplier, Amazon I think). Rear is still great.

That's interesting that says it fits 05-15. I was under the impression the handles were different from 05-11 and 12-15. That's pretty cool if it works.

Might not be the same one as it was one of my earliest mods after getting the truck back in 2017.
