Haha don't worry next year Maryland will bump that up to 2001.

It seems to me that the big ten is always more consistent and deeper than the ACC. Michigan State, OSU, and wisconsin are always really good and usually indiana, Minnesota, and Michigan are pretty solid squads as well. The ACC usually has two really good teams and the rest are kind of average and every few years they'll have a great team that will go and win the title. Honestly, I could be completely wrong, I only watch the highlights from Big Ten and watch quite a bit of ACC ball, so I see the good and bad of acc but only the good from other conferences.

im more of one to make the argument that you see a lot more true roots basketball play in the ACC. more finesse in the play and less "street ball" compared to other conferences. but that's really here nor there. big ten and pac 12 have plenty of excellent coaches that are gaining strength in recruiting players that years ago would always pick an ACC team over others. we're ACC fanboys, so we'll never sway in our bias.

right on. in the past 15-20 years you keep seeing more and more recruiting gold being pulled to the other side of the country, where before they were 10 times more likely to stay in their own or neighboring state. and what do we get? better basketball across the board. neato.

(now if those SEC schools would quite stealing our homegrown football players the ACC could get some better NC teams!)

lol, im pretty sure the game tonight doesn't even matter. it doesn't look like anybody has kentucky or ucon in any final game. think that makes Radred the winner.

it's been a fun tournament, but wow, very unexpected results.
