I went to that link and told it I had a2015 Tacoma with Nav (because that is what the radio is). I downloaded the file 13TDANNA-DA00_0215.kwi and placed it on my 2GB FAT32 USB drive. I did not bother to erase the previous file on the USB drive. This is the first and only USB file update that the radio could see. It is not necessary to have the engine on; just put the key in the ACC position and listen to the radio while it updates. Since my previous software was not causing any problems, I am not sure I will be able to notice any differences. However, I now have the latest software and the OE184 map chip.

I just did the update on my 2014 Entune/Nav JBL. I just opened a fresh 16gb SD card and copied the file. Followed the instructions on the site and it failed. I took the SD maps card out and did the update once more and it completed. I will see if this fixed the random reboots and freezing. Thx

Subscribed to look into this for mine. I think there's a few lame functionality issues with it, maybe this will help.

Apparently no update is available online for a 2015 with Entune Audio Plus without Navigation.

Does anyone have the software update file that goes on a USB for Entune Audio Plus for a 2014 tacoma TRD Sport?

Can't find anything online and https://securedp.toyota.com is not showing any file for me to download. The dealer wants $120 to do it which is crazy.

Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
I took my 2014 in last week to have the update done before I went out of warranty. The unit was locking up and my wife's iPhone would not connect, but mine would. The firmware update restores the unit to new so you have to add back your presets, phones, etc., but so far I have had zero issues with the radio since.

No luck finding the file so I bit the bullet and went to the dealer. Dealer couldn't install the update - it kept failing. So they called Toyota headquarters and it turns out the radio is defective. When I bought the truck brand new in April 2014 they sold it to me with a defective radio apparently but since I'm out of warranty they want $630 dollars for a refurbished Toyota certified radio and then they can do the update. I said no fucking way.

Writing a nice email to corporate Toyota customer service to tell them how awful their customer service is. Pending that reply (if I get one), they just lost a customer for life. I would've paid for the update, but a defective radio? I've done nothing to the radio since I bought it which means it came defective. That should be on them.

Toyota contacted the dealer after I sent them an email and then the dealer called to inform me they would be replacing my radio free of charge with the latest update. They did and the issues I was having are gone so far.

Now I just need to figure out how to update Gracenote because that's still on the same version with the new radio.
