    Hey everyone!
New member working on upfitting my 2014 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 SR5. I purchased a set of 17x8 TRD wheels and I’m curious about tire sizes and if I should level the truck. What are y’all’s recommendations on tires? I had a buddy say I should get some General Grabber AT2 in a 265/65R17. I won’t be spending too much time off road and it is my daily driver. What advice do you have for me? Thanks!

Definitely step up to a 2657017. Which should be doable without a leveling kit(so that parts up to you). The at2s are good tires but also look at Falken wild peak AT3W and Bfgoodrich Ko2s

Just got the 2657017 Falkens ordered! I appreciate the help! I’ll get them on and see what I think about a lift.

On my 2014 Off road I went with the k02 in a 2657516(same outside diameter as a 2657017) and I did have to remove the small little mud flap looking things on the front of the fender liner. They would rub when turning while backing up. But a previous set of coopers in the same size didn’t rub at all(tire size varies a little my brand). But you should be very happy with those!

many good reviews on the Falkins......

read the thread here about being 'directional'

seems they one side have a more bolder sidewall

Oh nice! I got a hook up on the Falkens and got all 4 for $500. Couldn’t get much of a deal on the KO2’s so I’ll see how I feel about the Falkens and might try the KO2’s one day. I won’t mind taking those little flaps off anyways.
I’ll check out the different sides of the tires and see what I think looks best. Thanks for the advice!
