Below is a list of different things associated with each ground location.
See if any of these groups don’t work.

For example, if the blower motor works.
We can probably eliminate the IE ground.

    Thanks you. Thank you.
Doing all this on an IPad is frustrating.

none.. on this one : )
Honestly it was running perfect. I'm thinking nothing but maintenance needed. Again, I am always overkill on the oil changes. Oil level good. I pulled the wires the stereo shop stabbed into a blue HOT wire (after the problem) just to the right of the Passenger fuse box location.. because I did not like the way it looked. It provided an always HOT line to the 2nd CIG lighter. I've tested the wire. Looks good at 12v. Thinking hard here.

Picture of location of said wire? Could be a clue where to look.

I have good access to the ECM. To make sure I am correct, using a volt meter, I am going to probe for instance Pin locations E21-17 (BATT) - E20-5 (E1). ??
Ok, dumb question to make sure it is done correctly... is one of my volt meter leads going to ground and then to the pin or am I cross-checking PIN E21-17 (BATT) to E20-5 (E1). So that would be Red lead on E21-17 to black lead on E20-5 (E1) or did that bring a chuckle to you?? Ha I'm clueless here! Thanks everyone.

PS Dm93 I will get a picture of that fat blue wire.

1 probe (red) in E21-17 (BATT)
The other probe (black) in E20-5 (E1)

You may need a needle or wire to get into the pins of the connector.

Since grounds are in question I would want to have the meter ground connected to battery ground for testing as to have a know good reference ground.

Yeah, or a test light on the grounds.
    But that’s takes more explanation.

    Best do as you said.

I'm going to get that pic to you Dm93 and then it may take me a bit to digest this and get back with accurate results. I will also test the windows, blowers etc..

Hey sorry this is all taking so long. I shot some random pictures underneath the dash at night in the rain and I saw something interesting at the bottom of the steering column and it looks to be a wire that is broken? Can anybody identify that and I'm putting a library together of some other pictures. It's just taking time and sorry for taking your time! As well, I think I should remove some more plastic from the dash area and look for grounded wires and do my part of this. I can be more thorough and a little bit drier and a little bit warmer as well! Sound like a deal? Thank you again everybody.

Ps. The windows and blower work!

I could be wrong but I think that's the tether strap for the steering column not a ground.

At this point the best and easiest option (providing the relevant fuses are good) is probably going to be checking powers and grounds at the PCM, I suspect one or more are going to be bad/missing.

FWIW, you could take a look at the main ground points under the hood and kick panel.
Maybe you’ll spot the problem…..you never know.

take a look at EH, EG and IE

Good evening and had a slight interruption from some earlier help from TnShooter earlier today. I got the scanner on the truck and it indeed fails with a communication error. It did pick up a couple of codes (ABS & Brake and a seat sensor). I have included the pics. I also am including the latest under the hood fuses and results from today.

    ---------------------

My earlier notes & question to TnShooter,
    "Relay 13, the C/OPN relay & the 10 amp fuse #11 ... interesting…

    He replied,
"This makes since, you will not have power to the EFI No2 until the ECM tells the EFI a relay to make contact. Until you get power through the EFI relay, you won’t have power to E21-23 (+B). That power comes from the EFI relay.
Also, the ECM controls the C/OPN. The Main power for the ECM comes from the EFI relay. And once again, it won’t have have power until the ECM “tells it to”.

As of now, it looks your issue is being caused by the ECM.
The ECM needs all the correct Powers and Grounds before it will “talk” to truck and scan tool.

For now, focus on the powers.
If you have power to all the correct pins, then we can move on to Grounds.

Just got some new "needles to probe the ECU pins:
    E-21 12 and E20-5
    E21-17 (BATT) - E20-5 (E1)

Running out there to do that. Be back in 10 to update / edit this recent post! Thanks much.
