So Bike week is in full swing now in Daytona. It started officially this past Thursday, and will continue on until Sunday the 15th. Who is going? Who is there? Who plans to go?

Me, well me and my girlfriend are going next weekend. We plan to head out on Saturday, early in the morning. We should be there around noon on Saturday, and will be hanging out until Monday morning, when we will head back home. If anyone is going to be there, post up and let us all know. I'd love to meet some fellow TW members out there, who also like to ride as much as I do! I'll even buy you a beer!

Lived in Daytona for a couple of years, my wife is from there. The in-laws live right down the street from Cabbage Patch. Haven't done it since 1997. No real desire to go back. If I was in town visiting the in-laws, I'd be down to taking out my FIL's Road King.

Right now in Daytona the weather is reasonably clear, and in the 70s!

I used to live in the area as well, and worked right in Daytona. I was at every Bike Week and Biketoberfest between 1998 and 2008. Enjoyed them all. Looking forward to actually going this time as a tourist! Hahaha.

Living and working in the Daytona area was a real pain in the ass this time of year. I worked for Terminix and had to drive all day. Fortunately for me, my route was in Ormand Beach so I wasn't in the heart of it until I came home from work. But it was still a pain.

Living and working during Bike Week and being a tourist are two different animals.

Have fun. Be safe. There's all kinds of idiots during Bike Week. :)

Oh I know all to well how bad the roads can be. I worked IN Daytona Beach. Hwy 92 was a waste of time, and don't even try to get over Main St bridge onto beachside unless you were on a bike. And even then plan for a long ride.

I'll have fun and work on being safe of course. I just wish there were more members here that were going!
