Budman and I are planning to run trails the weekend of the 9th, possibly somewhere in the Sierras. May be a day trip, may be an overnight trip, Idk yet. But if you are interested chime in. We talked about possibly Gold Lake, Niagra Rim, Slick Rock, etc.

It's actually weekend of the 9th. I'm leaning towards one of the trails like niagra rim or slick rock.

The Downieville Mountain Brew Festival is going on July 18th. Is the gold lake nearby the same Gold Lake in this thread? I'd do a little wheelin but I'd do some mountain biking as well. It's be a blast to wheel to campsite Friday and then ride into town via the Downieville Downhill (or the other trails that go into town), drink beer and get a shuttle back to the top and ride back to camp. The brewfest goes from 2-6, but the last shuttle leaves at 5pm. I wonder if the shuttle drivers would have an issue if you got on drunkish?
