Sometimes when I unlock my truck and I'm out standing near it the thing will randomly lock without me touching anything. I've searched and searched for anyone who has posted about this problem and have found nothing. Anyone else's do this? Is this a setting that can be changed? It drives me crazy!

That is a security feature. If you unlock with the remote and don't open a door within 30 seconds it locks itself.

If you unlock it with the remote and don't open a door within a few seconds the doors will lock.

    Edit: Beat me to it.

Alright. Thanks fellas. I'll just have to open the door after unlocking it for now on instead of waiting and it locking on me right before i open the door. Hahaha

When I got my remote starter put in, the guy told me that by default they deactivate that feature (or it's deactivated by the new setup) and asked if I wanted them to turn it back on. I said no. I now don't have this problem :D

It's really annoying when you have a shell. My shell lock is tapped into the door locks. It took me forever to get used to unlocking doors then open one so it doesn't lock me out.
