I just got a new 2015 TRD Off Road DCSB. I would like it to sit a little higher but it does not look like I can run much taller tires on it. How much larger can I put on there without rubbing? If I want it 2-3 inches taller am I going to have to lift it?

    Thanks.

If you lift it 2.5-3" you can fit 285s with some light trimming. Otherwise 265/75/16

Go with the 265/70R17 or 265/75R16 which is 1" over stock and will fit without a lift. Later with a 2" lift they will look good and proportional, and a 2" lift avoids the additional expense of UCAs and poor ride qualities of larger lifts.

If you want to gain 2-3" of lift over all you won't do that with tires alone. You'll need a lift of some kind to gain that much.

Thoughts on the Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit? I am not dead set on having it 2-3" higher. I just want to improve the factory stance. I had 265 75r 16 on my 2004 Tacoma and was happy with that. It looks like there isn't enough clearance to run those on my 2015 TRD Off Road DCSB.

I went with billets 5100's, ome 885's and Wheelers 3 leaf aal. Look around, you'll find some good deals. I got all this for under $400.

    Got the 5100's brand new.

Im happy with the lift this provided me, and it rides really nice. Mine is a '15 DCSB also.

I don't know anything about this kit, but, my thoughts are if you want to lift the truck then lift it with a full suspension kit like Old Man Emu. In my opinion a good suspension kit is the best way to get you 2-3" and maintain a quality ride.

Hell No. Suspension is a CRITICAL component of your vehicle, don't put shit on it. You bought a 35k truck, and want to put 10 dollars worth of chinese shit on it? Save your money, buy good components when you can, or leave stock. Being a cool bro, isn't worth screwing up your truck.

Lots of guys use Bilstein 5100 or Old Man Emu. I have no experience with those.

I run Cooper Maxx ST 255/80/17, but I have Icons at 2.5".

Thanks. That is why I research. I am not trying to be cheap. Currently I am looking at a Bilstein/coil kit from Headstrong or Toytech and trying to figure out what all I need to do it right.

Bilstein/OME kit from headstrong is what I have and I'm very happy with it. If you only want two inches get the 884s, no ucas no diff drop.

I just ordered the 5100s, OME 885, AAL with LR UCA's. I haven't put it on yet, but I can tell you the customer service and pricing is top-notch over @HeadStrong Off-Road

What setting did you use on the billies? Does you truck sit level? That is the setup I am looking at using in the future.

I have them set at 0. Currently, the front sits higher than the rear. Im going to be putting the overload leaf back in this weekend, hopefully that will level it out.

I was lucky enough that I didn't need to get an alignment also
