I'm interested to see how everyone with a 16-17 set up their limit straps in the front. I'm mostly interested in limit strap length and, if you used a double shear tab or hooked to the lower shock mount.

Also really interested in set ups with total chaos single shock LCA set up - showing their limit strap set up.

    Thanks so much!! Love TW!!!!

You may want to try this thread. Lots of guys running the same setup you're asking about. 16-17 have pretty much the exact same front suspension so your setup will be the same as second gens as well

Heck yeah!! Thanks! You welded your tab right in the middle of your LCA's? What length strap?

    Which thread??

I purchased 8 inch limit straps with clevis mounts and double shear tabs. I hope 8 inches is right. Nobody with a 3rd gen really talks about what length they purchased.

Im about to do my limit straps and bump stops. Been riding around with this LT kit without them for a while but the time has come. Anybody with a TC +2" kit have pictures or advice on how they welded their limit strap mount to the frame? I think the lower just screws into the LCA.

There is a slight difference from 2nd gen to 3rd gen where total chaos has their limit strap mount welded. I’m still trying to figure out how to get a weld in this tight spot. See pictures. AC53A3A2-DC65-44C2-BA59-D73E0760AC91.jpg3rd gen frame

Problem with mounting it towards the rear is when you run the secondary bypass, it’ll interfere. At least it looks like it will. With it mounted in the forward position of the shock bolt, it’s pretty close to hitting the cv.
