Question. I have a Soundstorm SX310 Crossover that's been sitting around awhile that was given me. Do I run this along with a LC7i or do I only need the LC7i along with my amps to tune my system?

Please, don't even bother with that junk. If you want more control over the LC7, upgrade to a DQDX or DQ61.
But for most people, the LC7i alone will be fine.

Got some time to kill so was looking at amp install/setups and decided to make sure I have good ground contact. It seems that a proper ground can make a huge difference. I'm using one of the bolts that anchors backrest to floor board. I took 100 grit sandpaper to expose bare metal on floor, underside of bracket, and topside.
    IMG_3969.jpg IMG_3970.jpg IMG_3971.jpg

I originally had ground wire off of LOC with bare wire wrapped around bolt but one guy suggested a cleaner method is to crimp a ring connector on it.

Thanks jmeitz. Took my time and studied up as much as I could. Still fine tuning things as you can see.

Hope Mr Marv was able to help you out

Definitely recommend installing terminal ring on ground from LOC. I took a look at mine that I had wrapped around bolt - basically disintegrated in my hand. Here's a shot of how thin the wire was ( originally around 3/4" long).

Ok last question - opinion: I had a single power bass 10 in my access cab and for the most part it was a good amount of bass. Will a single 10 provide enough bass in a double cab behind the seats or should I go with dual 10's?

I have to agree with @solscooter . It is a matter of personal preference. I wouldn't be happy with just one of my subs I don't think.

Is this picture of the harnesses only for ones who run speaker wire to the doors from the amp? From what I see here, if someone wanted to use the factory wiring from the head unit to the doors this setup wouldn't work correct?

You can grab the door wires in the kick panels if you do not want to buy a pricey harness or run wires through the door.

You are correct. However you could use it if you didn't unpin the input side of the harness. That would allow you to still use the factory wiring to go to the door speakers. Look on page 7 of this thread, I have detailed instructions on what to remove for the harness. Just skip the part about unwinding the speaker wires and you'll be golden.

Ok well I decided to take my 3 day weekend and push forward and get my system started. I built a box for it, mounted my amps, ran my power wire, speaker lines and speedwire. The sub I have is just a little too deep so I am going to have to order a new sub.

Here is a picture of the box so far. I plan to made a facade that will cover the box and go up above the box to cover the vents and window motor

I have one question. Right now I have the speedwire going from head unit to LC7i then from LC7i to amps. Everything is working, but I have noticed that when the truck shuts off there is small popping noise. Any ideas what that could be? This is the same amp I ran in my '15 access cab and didn't have that noise so not sure if it is the LC7i causing it or something else. Not a huge deal, but wanting to know what it could be.

My truck does the same thump with my signal processor. I have done a lot of research and I have not been able to find a fix for it.

@ratcityrain thathe looks fantastic man!! Well done!
