Not sure if they're from the door, but IF they are, they might be the piece that goes behind the chrome door lever (where you open the door from the inside).

    Did you mean "Subaru" tweeters?

No rattle. And yes Subaru. I added foam weather stripping around the speaker and dynamated the opening panel and behind the speaker on the inside of the door. It’s so loud now. The 6’5s go in tonight.

Thanks Drew. I’m gonna see if that’s where they go after work. That seems like the place.

Still can’t figure out where that rubber goes. All kickers have been installed and dynamat applied to all the doors inside and around the board of the speaker. Used black foam around each speaker. So with the 6 kickers and 2 10 inch JL TW3s I have to say that the overall sound is not even comparable to what it was stock. The tweeters alone completely changed the sound. The doors improved clarity and the subs are to much. One sub is more than enough. I have the gain a fraction up and the bass levels set close to negative 4 and that entire cab shakes. Now, the dynamat was a life saver. Here’s my only problem now. M I regret putting my amps knob in my center console. I listen to a range of music so if I go from rock to electronic I have to turn it down my going into my center console, taking the tray out and turning it up and down. I’m gonna have that moved down the road. I need to retune everything and might try spacing rear seat out another quarter inch. That was a huge deal with the subs slapping the back of the seats and vibrating everything in there. I’m $2400 into my stereo and is it the best sounding? No, but I couldn’t imagine anyone going louder or pushing more air. If I crank it high you can’t hear any rattling but you can’t hear music either, it’s just boom boom boom. I will say this, I hate the factory deck, and I may rip it out in favor of what’s best these days. My $400 pioneer in my last car had sound adjustments for days. Frankly, Toyota should be ashamed to have that headunit in their trucks. Those basic features on most every aftermark decks are miles ahead of this thing. I wanted the factory unit but now it’s really exposed for its lack of ability. I’m glad they put trash speakers in the truck, I rip them out of every vehicle first thing. I don’t think an amp is needed for the doors.

ManifestDestiny - Glad to hear things are finally coming around for you. I've been in your shoes before, where I was dismayed at first, but I took the time to research and then try new tuning tweaks before it eventually came out to something better than I had hoped it would be.

With all the things you have been posting, it might be helpful for others if you could post a summary of what you are running (once you are finished).

@ManifestDestiny Im pretty certain I know where they go. I left one off of my front doors I believe.

If you look at them closely there should be a part number on them. I took mine to Toyota parts dept and they pulled up on diagram where they go.

Nothing critical I don’t think. I have not had the energy to take apart yet...

Why not. Easy enough. I can't say that my 16 came with those

I'll take em off hour hands if you don't want them. Interested to see if there is any difference to be had in wind noise maybe

I looked again and think I saw them. Don't remember those parts falling off or having to be removed though

I have my bass control in my center console, along with a kill switch for the whole audio system - every once in a while I get his awful high pitch tone coming thru my speakers. I think I finally isolated high pitch to my front right speaker. At times it does not seem to put any sound out, then I turn up the volume and I can hear it kick in and the high pitch goes away?! Something with crossover??

Anyway, I read you mentioned having to remove your center console to access your controller. Not sure if this is your issue, but I went with the half tray instead of the full tray so that I could still easily access my knobs without removing anything. Here's a link

I have 6.5 mid-bass drivers on front doors driven by a 600/4 amp bridged ,even with the doors fully dynamated inside/out I was still getting a lot of rattles which I narrowed down to the inner door handle/opener , I duct taped the door handles to the door cards and put a little felt pad on that little cover that clips in the door handle , also used those little felt pads on any metal/plastic contact places now my doors are rattle free
