    Great build page if that’s the right lingo!!?? Awesome knowledge of audio installations by all. Was tempted to install my own amps, processor, and sub with box from @Mr Marv. I was understanding till around page 18-19 then went to full mental block. I don’t understand how y’all process all that info. Not giving up gonna re-read every page and take notes. It’s like I’m back in college. All you audio guys suck!!! JK thanks @1sttruckguy78 for starting this page.

    I can't provide any documentation but it seems to and it seems everyone that has done an audio upgrade with the stock head unit have had good luck and good sounding systems.

    @1sttruckguy78 couple of questions. Don’t understand how you get feed from HU to amp/processor then back to HU then to the speakers? Read about meta harnesses suppose to be plug and play but don’t look like it. I bought the speakers from the page about $250 audio build. Started that project and listen to a fuctard and put brackets on upside down so that’s a hold up. Going with a sub either already pre-built or a @Mr Marv box. Do I need two amps one to power the 6 speakers and other amp for sub? And if I need two amps what is the install process on that? Thanks in advance

    I didn't go from the processor back to the head unit. It is just the output to the processor then the rcas take that signal to my amps. Then speaker wire from the 4 channel amp into the doors. You don't have to have two amps if you don't want to. There are 5 channel amps you can run for everything.

    Best way is to run speedwire factory head unit to amp, run new wires from amp to speakers. Sounds daunting but not that bad.

    I read on a post that you can buy harness that will allow you to hookup from HU to amp/processor then from amp to speaker connections behind HU. Not electrical/audio savvy but have done it before. I have a new truck and don’t want to chop it up. Plug and play is more my speed.

    Thanks @Friedtacolover but I don’t think that harness from that site will work. I have the Subaru tweeters and read they are hooked up in series to the door speakers. I’m thinking I need to just sell these speakers I bought and go a different route.

    I would. I got kicker component 6x9’s and tweeters and placed the crossovers behind kick panels. But either way this is the harness you referenced that you heard about
