2016 Front Bumper Replacement

Companies buying fleet trucks don't give a damn what the trucks look like.

 

I agree it's a work truck but it sure looks very unfinished it totally looks like a bolt on and they just didn't finish the job. it surely wouldn't cost that much to paint it.
Of course the easy solution is only order that model in black paint , problem solved ! lol

The whole front end of my 2016 is plastic. The aft end too. The first thing I need is bumpers fore and aft. -TC

 

So, anybody know of any aftermarket bumpers that are available to the public yet?

Metal-tech 4x4 2016 Tacoma bumper is shipping this month. Bolt on, no body cutting. Fenders flares and inner wheel liners get cut, but that is due to the massive increase in approach angle. I will put a thread up for it here shortly.

Very easy to install our bumper is 100% no cut or drill. We designed the bumper to use a winch mount system that bolts on first, allowing easy install of the winch. Then the bumper bolts directly to the winch mount with 4 primary bolts and 2 locking bolts.. This allows you to set the gap you wish to have between the body and the bumper.

If you order the LED 20w recessed lights, you get the pair of LED's AND our custom made plug and play wiring harness that plug directly into the OEM Toyota fog lights wiring. It takes longer to bolt the lights into the pods than it does to wire them into the truck. They then use all the stock Toyota switch and dash indicator lights of them on or off.

There really is no need for a lite version of this bumper, its 110 lbs over stock. Bolting in a winch is what will add the bulk of the weight. We designed this 100% in 3D space from digital scans of the truck. Weight was a huge factor in what we created without sacrificing performance. Full 3D design allow us to maintain a running total on our weight, like a scoreboard, and run simulations for stress with increased or decreased material thickness OR type of material used.

 

i know an old thread but just was shopping for a 3rd gen, but i didnt know i had an option to get unpained bumpers for cheaper lol. i kinda wish it was like the old days when you could buy a truck with no rear bumper too lol
