Just reading this thread & I want to do this to my 17 SR.

Did you have to drill into the truck or flares at all? That’s what I’m trying to figure out this Mod.

How much total did you spend with your kit? I’m debating between the OEM or Lund SX version because doesn’t look like the price is too much different but the Lund are a bit bigger/bulkier. Am I corrrect?

Sorry for all the questions but looks like you have gone thru of all this.

    Thx for posting!

I bought these right after they came out because I drive my truck on so much gravel I wanted to protect it as much as I could as quickly as i could. I think you can see from the previous post they didn't really have the bugs worked out on where the screws went, but I didn't have to drill anything. There small plastic guards at the bottom of the truck which caused me to modify the rear flares slightly, by notching them. No big deal. Because I bought them right after they came out I think I probably paid more than they are now, I'm thinking around $500. I wasn't very happy about the screws not lining up but once I found some more they went on very easily and I'm really glad I bought them. Yes I believe they're a little wider than the OEMs.
