    I worked for magnaflow for a decade from 99-09. They do dyno, sound testing on all kits. I think they've had some personal changes recently which might explain the lack of video / audio. Im going to inquire about getting a kit, so ill give feedback when that happens.

    I'm starting to see the kit show up on multiple sites for order.
    Example: Summit Racing. Looks to run around $675.

    I just emailed a local muffler shop that I trust (put a MF dual in/out + custom tailpipe and tips on my Tundra) about getting it installed on my Tacoma. We'll see what they send back. I said no rush of course, but when if/when I get it installed I'll be sure to take plenty of crispy 4K video of it with a stero mic and not compress it to all heck uploading it. There's so many videos out there that are just plain bad.

    Plus interior sound across the RPM band and at highway cruise. That's the most important part to me. Since that's where a lot of time will be spent and cruise at city speeds is usually not a problem for drone, but highway can be. Especially with our trucks that don't like to stay in high gear.

    Here's to whoever gets this put on first and posted up. :cheers:

    Until they start putting a V8 in the Taco....not much interest here. Matter of opinion but the only 6 bangers that sound good with an exhaust is a Porsche or an M3/M4.

    same here, I'd love to hear a new taco exhaust that sounds decent. I've yet
    to hear a v6 Tacoma(any year) sound decent with an aftermarket exhaust.

    Thanks! I'm hoping it won't be too long.

    Good to hear! My truck is still in the shop but should be out by the end of the week. Till then everything has been put on hold. Bodywork and repair cost was over $7,000 and it was still drivable :eek:. Good thing it's covered by the insurance of the lady that pulled in front of me.

    I've noticed a few clips popping up on threads here and on YouTube with different part numbers compared to the one I listed from MagnaFlow.

    Specifically part #19293. It's got two mufflers instead of one, and is a different muffler body length. Otherwise they look the same. Perhaps it's a bit louder?

    One member has already put one on as seen here.



    I'm still going with the #19291 part since I don't want it very loud. Just more noticeable. I did get a quote back from a local shop and they were asking for $689 installed for the whole deal. Love to hear what you're getting it for to keep everything in check. But I'm thinking I'll go through with it. I just want it done right and it'll be there for a while if all goes well.

    Don't let youtube clips be your deciding factor. I tried that with the FlowMaster Super 44 and
    was very disappointed with it, enough to have it removed after 2 days and my stock put back
    in place. Money lost and lesson learned but at least I like driving my new truck again.
