    I left a vm at Magnaflow to clarify - should not be that complicated. Here's what they told me re: 19291 vs 19293...

    19291 - for the extended cab ( double cab) with 73.7" bed (long)

    19293 - for the crew cab with 73.7" bed. I saw another thread on tacomaworld where someone with a double cab/shortbed used this kit.

    Can't understand why they are telling me to piece together 3 different parts.

    The extended cab is not the double cab, it's the extended cab. The crew cab is the double cab. If you go to MagnaFlow's site and search by vehicle - >2016 toy tac 3.5L whatever trim pack - > crew cab pickup bed length 60.5" - > it shows part number 19291. Which is on backorder

    I was getting confused about the right model number for my truck. I have an access cab (aka extended cab) with long bed...and it is the same part number (19291). I believe the overall truck length of a double cab (aka crew cab) short bed is the the same as the access cab long bed, hence same muffler size. At least that is how I am rationalizing my confusion :goingcrazy: about what part number to get if I order this thing.

    I wonder if the install is truly an unbolt this, unhook that, attach this and hook this, type of install (DIY). More reading I guess.

    I've owned several trucks, put this same type of magna-flow sytem on all of them and everyone
    was just that, take the old one off and bolt the new one on, takes like 30 min. and boom! new exhaust!

    Yes, that ez.

    Install took 20 mins. If I didn't have a lift it might have been 30. Couple bolts couple hangers boooom your done

    No welding of any kind (on the hangers)? All the shops around here want to charge me like $100-200 to install the damn thing... If there's no welding I'll just crawl under the truck and bolt her up my damn self.

    Does the magnaflow sound the same as the 4.0L vs the 2016 3.5L? I was looking to wait on a borla but from the sound clips the magnaflow sounds good.

    Wow that's an expensive exhaust system I'm getting a custom system on Saturday for around $350 there gonna cut it right behind cats reroute my driver side pipe for skid plate clearance and a nice collector to a 3" magnaflow race series muffler

    I did custom on my '06, but all the weld spots turned in to rust spots. So I figured I'd spend a little extra dough this time around to hopefully avoid that problem. Plus I'll have the warranty on it no matter where I am.
