So I see Borla released an exhaust for the 16 Taco, anyone have better results with Borla over Magnaflow?

I was curious about that, but haven't seen a single sound clip. But I like what I've heard with the MagnaFlow system, so I'm just going ahead with it. Plus they posted their own clip too, seems that they actually care a bit.

I'm working with Hottexhaust to get it discounted and ordered right now. I signed up and got a code but it said it was expired, and the 2nd one I used said it was disabled, haha. So I'm just emailing them, hopefully it gets sorted out. Otherwise I'll just wait till it's off backorder and get it locally.

Ya on the Borla site all it says is "S type" exhaust sound. IDK what that means. I saw some videos with the Borla PROXS muffler and it sounded fantastic but I don't know what muffler they put in their cat-back systems

Exactly, they did sound good but one of the clips I heard sounded a bit higher pitched than I would like. I know it's a V6, but still. I'd imagine it would sound pretty similar though.

Thank you so much for posting that! After a few emails back and forth I got a code that worked properly. Done and ordered :)

    Help me out guys!

I'm troubleshooting this vibration found in the other threads...now, many people report an exhaust drone from the 1800-2300rpm range. There is an audible tone difference and it lines up to where we feel the vibrations.

For the people that installed catbacks so far and recognised the drone before. Did the cat-back help the drone at all?..

There was one poster, can't recall his name but I'm pretty sure when
he put his cat back system on he didn't feel the vibe.

Sure dude. I'm pretty sure he posted in the vibe thread or one of these
exhaust threads... my brain is telling me it's one of the exhaust threads. There's
not many of them, should be ez to track it down.

There was a group buy for Magnaflow that just ended but believe it or not this is a far better price.

Well I called summit racing yesterday and they weren't very much help. They just read right off the website and could only see what we see. The only good thing is it's a direct buy from borla and its 572.99 through summit and $640.99 through borla. I have no clue how they do that, and but I also don't know how they could sell a part with no sound clips! I will try to call borla today... My only concern is borla is 2.5" with 4" tip. I think the magnaflow will sound better because it's 3" pipe all the way back to the same 4" tip. So if that discount really works for magnaflow, I'll prob go with that. Even though I know borla makes better products...

I've always heard borla makes a better product but I can't justify spending that kind of money until I here an audio clip of what it exactly it will sound like

But even that may not tell the whole tail though, look at the people on here that have bought the magna flow muffler and took it back off after hearing it for them selfs.

Exactly! Unless you're standing next to one, the sound clips are
pretty deceiving. I'm $200 bucks poorer thinking the "clip" was enough
    judge the sound.
