Don't care. He is a prick, and in real life treats his fans poorly. Especially the young ones. He will never get my support, ever.

I've been a Jeff Gordon fan for 20 years, gonna be a lot different for me without him out there. Hoping Chase Elliot does a good job in the #24 car! Not sure who I'll listen to with the in car audio app now that Jeff's gone. Sigh.

Matured or not, when I personally saw how he made a little 10 year old boy cry with his holier-than-thou attitude, I have no interest in him. I do agree Stenhouse has become a bit of a prick too.

How do you figure about Dale Jr ripping off Gordon's sponsor??

So is Danica still going back to Indy cars? They didn't mention anything about it being her last race at Homestead.

Alright boys! Two months until next season. Plenty of time for speculating and studying statistical data. I'll post some links from time to time.

Here's an idea: post your favorite schemes from different decades. I'll do some when I get home.

(Preface: push opinions on driver's personalities and skill aside. The focus here is on the paint scheme & design of the cars)

One of my favorite modern cars is Brad's '14 CHASE car. White on white with tasteful blue. The gold wheat accents (absent from the '15 car) really popped, especially with the Yellow roof number, window strip and front splitter. It's a very clean looking car. Not too busy, and devoid of the modern annoyances like flames, pixels, swoops, etc. I don't like the beer but I like the car:

One of the most timeless ans smooth schemes in the history of NASCAR. The Wood Brother's #21 primary scheme is all class:

    Here's a way-back scheme from a short track (Nova?):

Notice any resemblance to this great (my favorite) Jr. scheme? Same Number color, font and sponsor:

Here's a rare one. Buddy Baker's 1990 Publix car. Simple, clean and green. There were a lot of clean, good looking race cars in the early '90s:
