2016 NASCAR thread

I only had time for 7-8 laps. I'd love a package where you could run a full 30-50 laps and work on entry & exit points. Honestly, with a weekend worth of training, I think most folks with similar strength and focus could hang in a Camping World truck race for a mid-pack finish. I think a pay-to-play weekend warrior series would be fun as hell on these super-speedways.

 

hmmm... how do I get into nascar.....

 

One last thing: after two laps, it feels like a furnace inside the car.

Well that was a fun finish! I figured the JGR cars were going to blast by the 4, 88, 3 with fresh right side tires. Carl gave it a go! I tuned in for the final ten laps. Very nice finish.

Kevin Harvick only won because I go to jimmy johns once a week, and carl lost because I never go to subway...

 

Carl deserves to never win a single race ever. In my narrow minded NASCAR self. I expected Harvick to win. Chase Elliott had a great run, pumped for that team, can't wait to see if Penske goes all the way with Blaney as well. The

 

whats wrong with carl Edwards? hes funny and genuine.... unlike some drivers out there...

 

Just his decisions from past races I guess, he's not what media makes him, such as genuine.

 

idk, after he wrecked in Daytona last year and he was all smiles.... now his pit crew is a bunch of douchebags... ive met them...

 

It's my belief Carl is a reflection of his crew it that circumstance

 

His former RFR Nationwide crew Chief Mike Beam refuses to speak to me because I told Mike what I really thought about Carl. I'll give Mike credit, he's loyal to his drivers, but dang if Carl didn't pull the wool over his eyes. Carl is a first class narcissist all the way. The thing that always got to me is how he'd say & act one way in front of the press, presenting a Mr. Clean image, then do dastardly things on track and not own up to it. If you're going to make the decision to dump drivers and risk their lives, at least have the seeds to own your action.

 

That's exactly my point. However today he made a good race decision, perhaps he knows he would be held more accountable for it, idk.
