Probably the most important part of tonight's race, pit road:

Everything is moving about 20 minutes later than scheduled so I'd expect a 9:46 green flag.

    Rules for tonight:

    SEGMENT 1
The lineup for Segment 1 is determined by qualifying run earlier Saturday night.

There is a mandatory green-flag pit stop for a minimum of two tires (teams can choose to take two or four) during the opening 50 laps.

After Segment 1, there is a 3-5 minute break. Cars must pit and take a minimum of two tires.

    THE RULES, SEGMENT 2
The starting order for Segment 2 is set by the pit-road exit from the mandatory pit stop after Segment 1.

During Segment 2, there is a mandatory green-flag pit stop for a minimum of two tires during this set of 50 laps. The twist here is that the pit stop must occur before Lap 85.

After Segment 2 concludes, there is another 3-5 minute break.

    THE RULES, SEGMENT 3
During the break between Segments 2 and 3, there is a random drawing in which the number 9, 10 or 11 is selected. That number determines the number of cars from the 20-car field (starting from whoever is leading the race) which must pit for a mandatory four-tire stop. Pit road is closed to the additional cars.

Those who did not pit will be on older tires and at the front of the field. The order off pit road sets the running order behind those cars. So it will be older tires at the front and fresher tires (and likely faster cars) at the rear. Plenty of strategy to be had.

Only green-flag laps count in Segment 3, and NASCAR Overtime procedures apply.

No problem man. Is there anything in particular you need to know now? And do you need any updates throughout the race?

The majority boo every driver that isn't dale Jr. there, same goes for any Virginia, Georgia track.

Can't wait for when junior retires, a lot of diversity will begin.

How many more seasons do you think he will race ? 2, maybe 3 ? And 2nd question is how much impact will it have on the sport as far as fan base and track turnouts ? There will always be fans but how many true fans ?

There will always be true fans, that will watch even if they don't have a favorite, if you watch it enough you will find yourself leaning towards a certain driver.

Personally, I think dale jr. Will drive as long as he is competitive (running top 15-20); then when he is not, he has talked of running some truck series races (something he has never done). A lot of the junior fans will be watching the drivers he picks for his xfinity series team and probably pull for them as their new favorites by association.

When junior is out, there has been enough media around a lot of other drivers in recent years (Busch, Keselowksi, Logano, Elliott, Larson, etc) while junior was in his rut that will keep a very consistent fan base, the sport will be fine.

I agree with you but think it might have some impact even if small. As far as racing trucks I read that, for his own team I believe. I think his life has changed alot and seems to be in a good place with Amy in it.
