From the showdown, the idea seemed to be 2 tires held off 4 tires, and it worked, making this last segment all that more interesting.

Segment 1 starting in 1 more caution lap. Expect fuel only segment 1, 2-4 tires between segments, then 2-4 in segment two, mandatory 4 tires between segments 2-3.

A lot of strategy early, lap 34, Kyle leads, first 6 cars have not pitted, rest of field has and most got 2 tires. Tire fall off is huge right now. Don't know how Tires will react to more rubber being laid down.

Top 5 Busch, Logano, Edwards, Keselowksi, kenseth

 

Basically top 6 haven't pitted early because they can get 2 now and 2 between segments giving them fresher tires than those that pitted early, may be the strategy to do

 

Caution with 4 to go, McMurray blew a right rear. 2, 18, 19 were on pit road at the time. Only car that hasn't pitted was 20, needed to pit by lap 47, 1 lap penalty.

 

This new all star format is nuts, obviously confused the shit out of kenseths team, they were not prepared. Who was prepared was the 48, 42, and 11, they pitted under caution for 2 tires just now.

 

You should be a crew chief, you know racing ! Thank you again for doing this, almost feel like I'm there !

 

Segment 1 ended. 19, 2, 18, 4, 24, 41. McMurray and kenseth a lap down. Between segment pit stops coming up.

McMurray has a bad rub. Looks like segment 2 lineup will be: 2, 18, 11, 48, 42, 22,19,4,24,41

Kahne actually came out first on pit road but had uncontrolled tire and over the wall violation, goes to rear, updated lineup in my previous post #731

 

Must get 2 tires under green by lap 85 this segment (2).

What is caution for ?

 

Harvick having power steering issues, multiple pits.

Caution was for a weeper.


Many drivers over radio saying a lot of shit, it's nuts.
