Jesus, I have been on here a lot lol. It also helps that I'm 4hrs ahead of OV and am already home for the weekend

 

patiently waiting to see how this 'update' turns out so i can order it for my 18.

 

@OVTune I am currently running the first tune for the M/T and was concerned with the initial install having several "hickup's". Would it be safe to delete all the tune and associated files from my laptop and starting fresh through the download manager or will I need to re-register the dongle ect.?

How will we receive the update? Do you keep a Db of all your customers and email a new tune file? for those of us who ordered and tuned previously.

I could use your help on a couple of things like

how do i know which ECU number I have in my truck ? easy way to check it ?

people that are running the VO tune what do you notice most overall ?

the software from OV will tell you.

you can estimate that from your build date. but nobody knows how reliable it is. the ones who know for sure, know from OV' s PCMFlash.exe

I'm not sure there's been another 100% working method to get this version info, is there? a few guys were trying with OBD but not sure what they found.

so I take it this tune work the same with all MT ECU ?

i see that it work great in cold and warm wether! what about in 4wd ?

How long does it take to get one to Canada , Ontario ?

make friends, not an ignore list. i suggest you spend time reading OVTune's posts in this and the Alpha thread. then you'll have better questions that users here are interested in answering.

to get you started, and to also address the above q, the answer is no. the different ecu's, up to this point, have had differences and different limitations. you are arriving when some of that may be changing. we are waiting on a release today or tomorrow that may break open some of that, hopefully.

2nd Gen taco had some more bottom end feel , but nice to see new taco out in the world
