that's what i said when i had the Pedal Commander before this tune came out..

well, actually i never said it drives fine with that setup. it didn't, but it drove better than stock by a mile. the difference with the OV tune is very significant coming from stock with the PC or SB. if you can feel power delivery and throttle response, that is. stock with the PC would spin my tires with a brush of the throttle at the medium setting, but it felt like numb, non-linear, inconsistent crap compared to this tune alone.

    Non yet
I suppose I need to actually feel this. But just based on the graph as evidence, I don't think the power delivery is there for me.

That's fine if you want to base your decision on dyno sheets. Just keep in mind that your stock truck is probably limiting you to 30+ HP less than what Toyota claims the HP rating is on paper. The torque limiting and throttle mapping is garbage. The numbers may not be that impressive, but the improved throttle response and smoothing of vvt make much more difference than you might think. Drive ability is far superior and I guarantee your butt dyno will be happy.

I think it makes more power then that Dyno session showed. My truck for sure feels like it has more power then that. My truck feels stronger then my MT FJ cruiser I had and my 2015 4Runner.

I don't doubt some of it is tuning but Toyota purposely designed their stock ECU tune to limit available torque to what it decided you should have. Your right foot was merely a suggestion that you wanted to go faster.

no longer. the torque is there for sure, available and not hard to find. but one point is that i drive light and am on 265/65-17's so there's not much holding me back.

if the next file version added zero add'l power but tweaked the throttle response or maybe other bells & whistles, then I'll be completely satisfied with the tune. if it adds even a tick of power, then that's some cherries on top at this point. i got the tune to be able to drive my MT with a normal and not weird V6, and this tune has already accomplished that for me on the latest ECU 04B12... but I understand some haven't had theirs strike gold yet, and we're all hoping we're all happy.

It shouldn’t matter, typically this is due to easier measurement of the power. Larger tires would change that though.

Drivetrain loss probably, but that is one heck of a flat torque curve. Now if only it could be about 30 - 50 ft-lbs higher :)
