Yes. I've only got about 20 miles on 1.03C this morning, and I'm happy so far. I did not notice any surging. So far so good.

ROE?! TEST?! I’m out ,, lol all’s well ,, the scan brought up codes about the sensors which are bad and being warrantied ,, nothin said about anything else ,, other than they did ask how long I had lift ,, they were thinkin the lift threw out calibration ,, if that was the case it woulda set off the sensors 28 months ago lol ,,

Either this weekend or the next, depending on free time available, I'll be heading out to the Wall outside of El Paso here to test out the tune on some steep hill climbs. I have the stock tune and 1.03 to compare to. Didn't attempt on 1.03B yet since I havent been out there yet, and not on C for obvious reasons, but I expect there will be improvement on the climb. Usually do a 4lo 3rd gear run and then it peters out almost at the top and need to go down to 1st or 2nd to finish the last little bit. Perhaps now I can power through all the way up in one gear.

I always max out my inclinometer on them, and they're probably closer to somewhere between 40 and 45° unless I'm just retarded and overestimating them lol0113181104a.jpg 0113181105.jpg

That looks like fun. Only a quick 1200 mile drive for me :annoyed:

I’ll have to find some fun out west when I head to expo in May.

Not trying to be a dick..... But why are you here then, what is it you are asking for? This is a flash for the stock ECU.

It would not be a pointless thread to start because you seem to be asking a specific question about the behavior of your truck. You also said you did not want to flash new software or use any sort of plug in device, thus making it off topic for this thread.

If you were interested in the tune had asked if it would fix the problems you have with your truck, I could probably have been more helpful. You're welcome.

Back from a 68.7 mile trip up a canyon road in Utah called Parleys Canyon (for those who know it they will understand this was some pretty impressive results).
It's about an 5-8% grade for the first little bit then 15% for the last, oh about 4-6 miles. Got to the top and turned around and came back down.

Before I left, my avg tank mpg was 15.6 (I had just got back from a trip to S. Utah going 75-85 most of the last 200 miles). I drove around 72-75 mph most of the way up to the canyon and then held 75 mph the entire way up (which was awesome btw). When I pulled back into the driveway the avg tank mpg was at 16.1 and the average mpg for the trip was 18.5! That seems pretty damn good to me.

I'm curious to see the MPG when I get a fresh tank in.

    As for the trucks behavior:

Felt amazing! It still pulls so well in all the gears as it did on 1.03B. I can tell that overly sensitive pull with minor throttle input is more mild now, but not lacking my any means. We are getting a series of snow/rain storms the next few days here so I am excited to test out this tune, but I still have to say, this is hands down, without a question, the BEST mod I have or will even do to this truck. It is simply amazing! @OVTune thank you!

I drive parley's to PC twice a week for work. Pretty impressive results! How about gears? Were you able to hold 75 up the steep bit in 6th?

I could hold it most of the way. At that steep part past lambs canyon exit I had to downshift to 5th and was pretty much pinned to keep 75. But still, this is way better then stock. The same section I would have to be in 4th to keep 70. I hit 4th and then it took off! I hit 85 very fast. I got a big smile :)

Whelp, I for one am very happy with this latest update. Seems to me to be the final dialing-in that it needed. The next thing that I'm looking forward to are Mat's updates as he works on his twin turbo setup. Toyota 3.5L ecoboost ftw! :D

We'll see. Gotta pay to play. But I would expect it to be comparable in price to whatever Magnusson and possibly URD puts out eventually for a supercharger.

I love that idea about a turbo for these trucks but I doubt I'll get it definitely will get his exhaust and intake though
