Yeah... still does it when warm, it's just more muted. Less the the B tune, but still there. Have a few things to try when I have some time.

it's not a problem... i think. easy on it when cold, not digging in until fully warm. i just hope that's all i have to attend to for engine health over the long haul. no other issues aside from the unstable throttle in 1st gear traffic jam crawling. actually, this appears to be some physical throttle unit issue. if i am under 1500rpm at 1-2mm of throttle only and stable on the pedal, the motor isn't stable at an rpm. it's constant up-dow. 100-200rpm. but only in this exact case as I've seen it. same as 1.03B.

 

Oh I didn’t get off easy. The $83k was just in court and attorney fees. I lost $2.3m in investments and inheritance money.

 

I'm going to give it some miles and see if things change, but that jump up and down you describe is exactly the same on my truck. 1.03B did it and now 1.03C is doing it too. Not a big deal in Hi, but in 4lo you can definitely feel it.

 

big point you make. i have not tried it in 4Lo. that could be an issue between that and defco. eeesh. someone needs to put a day on the dirt in for this tune to test.

I'm pretty happy with 1.03C, don't get me wrong. I DO think OV needs to get another M/T for testing and get these last few wrinkles ironed out. Full disclosure, I've had 3-4 pinging incidents under heavy throttle since flashing. I know that the ECU has to find the advance limit and then back off a bit, but how many times lol? I have always run 91E0 gas with OV's tunes BTW, and am running the 91 Octane file currently.

agreed. ii a still waiting to review it on bshammer0's thread. the little things are under review. i absolutely love 1.03C, B as well, to be clear. but it's not perfect on MT's. yesterday I'd say it's 98% there. today I'm saying more like 95%. but now 4Lo must be tested.
