Well, my truck sat for 3 and a half hours and I just went out to log. Wanted to see if I could replicate that single stutter I had noticed this morning. Started it up, temp needle barely above nil, and immediately drove away. I could not.

For what it's worth, it's high 80s here today. Truck was at operating temp within less than a minute or two, but performed flawlessly. So I erased the log I was taking. Making me wonder if that stutter was just another very isolated incident, perhaps due to running a new map and still working some digital kinks out, and that my #cementflavoredunicorn will continue to fail to disappoint me. Lol

Wondering if @OVTune has anything to chime in with based on the log I sent him last night and what you guys on the latest iteration of T2 have sent in to him

Just for the record here... In all of the past tune versions I have had odd behavior for the first 50 miles or so after re-flash. This includes hesitation, stuttering, and the misfire feeling. It does go away after about 50 miles though. I just want to make sure everyone doing the testing is getting past that initial learning period before making a serious evaluation.

I loaded the 103C 00T 87 octane test tune today and here is the review I sent to Matt. This tune is for the '18 trucks only. I also sent him a fuel economy log for the new tune.

Ran the tune today and I like it. Throttle input is easier to control at lower RPM's. I didn't experience any stumble or stuttering. Power seems similar to the 103c 87 octane. The old tune had a definite power increase right around 3500rpm. Felt similar to a vehicle with turbo lag. The new tune has a very linear power delivery.

My hats off to the guys and gals helping Mat with the development.:hattip: I have read most of this thread and monitored it (if you take a couple days off from this thread you have lots of reading to do). I am really considering this tune and would like to kill two birds with one stone: pickup some lost performance due to larger tires and re-calibrate the speedometer for the larger tires.

@OVTune - I think it has been brought up that this may be possible. Any chance for this to come at some point? I understand its not the primary focus right now, but is it on the long "to do" list? Thanks!

Yeah man same here, no douchebags on my street!

Everyone just helps out and nothing is expected in return. I almost tripped over 8 can pack of beer the neighbor left on my doorstep the other day. All I did was blow the end of his driveway out. I mean, I'm out there anyway and it's like 5 minutes of "work" and a few tablespoons of fuel. 'sall good

Yeah as far as I can tell by reading his posts in the alpha thread.
Oh for sure, it's been understood from the beginning that the A/T is the lion's share of Mat's business and he's gotta look after them. We're always second but things do get sorted out eventually. He's also got other irons in the fire besides the 3rd gen too.

How's the new tune running? Any changes of note?

Nah. I did some more driving again, with enough time following today's second drive of the day that I mentioned earlier in order to bring about another cold start (sort of) to attempt to produce that single stutter from this morning, and nothing came up. I'm thinking it was a hiccup during that initial mileage following flashing a new map. Tomorrow morning should confirm I guess

However, going off of past experiences with my truck and Mat's maps, I obviously cannot really say if that is confirmation that issues are thoroughly resolved or if my truck is just continuing to not fear change and taking it all in stride lol

Does anyone here know any shops that they trust to do this tune right? Around the Santa Barbara CA area they could refer me to?
