2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

Sure we don’t NEED it but this is tacomaworld and most of the stuff we buy we don’t need

 

I tried that. I’m on tank 4 or 5 of 91 now lol

 

Lets have the tune already. So we can all go out for a rip without stutters

 

I’ve been back on stock tune for two weeks (was planning to wait for new release before reflash back to OVtune) and I can confirm that the 2-3k rpm stutter is present on the stock tune. I never noticed it before but now I’m sensitive to it. It’s not as pronounced as 1.03B/C but it’s definitely there. If Mat came up with a patch that resolves this, it will be awesome. Hoping the release comes soon!

 

I can tell you that the test tune I'm running has relieved MY truck of the stutters.. and a few other annoying things.
My only complaint now is the power is down a bit (WRT 1.03B/C), most notably on the highway in 5th/6th.

If the power comes back in the official release and the stutters stay gone.. well I'm good!

Mine is so bad that with the tb space and afe CAI. I can here a chirping noise under light throttle around the 2500rpm mark. Its pretty embarrasing. The truck stutters and chirps and as its stutters the little bird chirps go in sync. Would love the have the new file soon as I have been dealing with this annoyance for 2 weeks now.

Making a real sacrifice here guys. Flashing another flawless, perfect map (@MOC221_ and @Shellshock and a few others get the joke lol) because that means Murphy's Law will proc and result in Mat releasing the update within mins haha I gotchu guys

*flashing from 87oct 1.03C 2T3 to the original 91oct 1.03C because it's time to have more fun in my life again lol

 

I go could for a flash! Might have to flash to 1.03 (from 1.03b) just to feel like I’m part of the group

Hey if I’m on the repo list that means I at least got to enjoy the turbos for a while which is a win cuz then we know it’s real
