    For me and my 04B10 truck, I'd say my only real gripe would be the 91 Octane T2 file I'm running has less power than 1.03B/C. That COULD be the result of the stutter fix on my truck, as Mat stated he saw that my engine couldn't decide if it wanted to be in Atkinson mode or not in certain RPM/load scenarios. He had to smooth out the VVT and extend Atkinson functionality a bit. If I can't have all the power back without stutters though, I'll take reduced power 100% of the time. Stutters sucked bad my friend.

    Wish list

    1. As I said above, ALL the power of 1.03C without stutters;
    2. A small touch more throttle response when stabbing quickly - ie when rev matching. I don't want to give up the linearity and fine control that I get from the current T2 file though. This one is being REALLY nitpicky and i could really care less if it got done or not.

    And that's about it.

    I hope Matt does a great job on the new tune in 87 octane. I put premium fuel in the truck (91) and it's an extra $10 per tank and fuel prices are expected to go up. Only 87 for me now on.

    100% serious, with a touch of humor added. For obvious reasons. Just can't be helped

    Lol, I get it for sure :thumbsup:

    I'm just as hyped for the release info as I am for the actual file :anonymous:

    Loaded the test tune and let the truck idle for 20 minutes until it was at normal ops temp. Drove 20 minutes home from my hangar, all city driving. Did get her up to 80 over the intracoastal bridge. There is a noticeable power loss compared to 1.03b or c but still way better than stock. (I am regeared and on 35’s). MPGs in town cruising at 45/2000RPM (5th gear) were averaging 21ish and I was able to lay into the throttle in 5th from 45 to 80 with pretty strong acceleration from 2k RPM. Let the speedo settle on 80 over the mile of bridge that has no elevation change and MPG readout was 16ish at 2500 RPM in 6th. Shifts were all smooth and no surging noted.

    Will be driving from south Florida to Tennessee next Wednesday for some wheeling. I’m anxious to see how it handles up there.

    Where will you be wheeling in Tennessee? I'm on the Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia border and looking for some good places that won't scratch my truck with narrow trails.

    Thanks for the review, I have had the truck in 4lo a couple of times trying out the throttle with the test tune.. but no real wheeling yet. It's much more linear with good tip in feel so it should be ok crawling.

    Ah, not long to wait now eh? :spy:

    Hahaha this. But not going to happen. Once someone gets am issue, it seems they come out of the woods. But realistically, glad Matt is so willing to help the community. What he has don't is a god sent.

    If it’s anything like 2T3, it’s much better than 1.03B in everyday drivability. Smooooth. I’ve notice it doesn’t feel as harsh as 1.03B.

    This is also because 2T3 is a variant of 1.03C, not B. So not as harsh to begin with
