2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

Still no manual 1.04 right?

 

If I were to get a finished 1.04 for the MT tonight, I could have 1100 miles on it by the end of the week. Just saying

I wouldn't mind seeing them win the Cup just cause they've surpassed everyone's expectations for a first season and, well, it's their first season. If/when SJ chokes, I'll cheer for LV

 

I'm predicting SJ vs LV for round 2 (nearly inevitable the way things are going) and then the winner of that vs the Preds in Western Conference Finals

 

I was hoping you guys would be discussing the new M/T tune file instead of the bread and circus of pro sports

 

Karma. We got to enjoy the 1.03B/C release before the AT crowd. It’s their turn on the 1.04. Let them beta test it for us.

 

I think most of us are running the test tune at this point so aren’t in any rush

I went back to the original release 1.03B because I preferred the more aggressive tip in and the noticeable power in the higher RPMS. I know Matt said there was no power loss but it just seemed "lethargic" at Highway speeds when you mashed on it to pass someone. Maybe it is just me,but when I started modding vehicles it was for drag racing and I wanted go fast/max torque,go now power all the way through the RPM's and gears....

 

There most definitely something different with the test tune 2 file and 1.03b, or we have just gotten VERY use to this tune vs stock. While not knocking Matt's work, 1.03b wa way better with power delivery and responce. I can not use 2nd like I did on 103b. Nor does the power seem to be there in higher rpms. Im.still giving test file 2 it's fair share for at least 500 miles then going back to 103b

 

I think the difference was a faster ramp up. The tune I’m on feels very linear and I much prefer it over B. It’ll still go when you get into it but you can also drive it reasonably. There was very little pedal travel used in my truck with the B tune.

My truck is close to stock though which will make it a different experience from others.

 

I knew I saw that somewhere after @MOC221_ was complaining about it
