No communication on status is a fail. To go 3+ weeks with no updates is ridiculous. I get that he’s a small business but execute dude.

My pet peeve is the broken promise release dates and lack of communication.

I’ve never worked with a tuner that is this slow on patching and updating tunes regardless of platform.

Yes I’m grateful for having the option at all but I totally get the frustration as I’m right along with everyone else regarding the need for an update.

now if it does not release to-nite and we are not updated
be like, first :lalala:or :rant:then :boink: then :censored: then :argue: then:duel:or :infantry:resulting in:deadhorse:

I am ok waiting for the new tune file and the improved flash manager with the addon's + custom tune available as Matt has mentioned. I am sure he has been busy with packing and shipping the dongles for the last couple of days. With that apparently done, a sitrep on the new flash manager and M/T tune would be nice...

    Lol, yup.

I'm not sure how much longer some of the peeps in here are gonna stay on the non-apeshit side of town though.

We'll need an update soon :smash:

    You unleashed the beast.

I get the whole- can’t work 24/7, is a small business, deserves time off, updates are free, etc but he took money. It’s not charity.

Took my stock tune truck down some dirt roads and such today...
.why do these trucks wheel hop like a SOB on sand? In 2x4 as soon as I get onto sand the whole thing shudders and hops... Always gotta use 4x4... Although a dodge minivan rocketed by me...

Also, the dead skinny pedal.... I was facing uphill, Trac control off, on loosepack (AZ desert) and dumped it to get going, trying for wheel spin. Damn thing bogs so far down I had to clutch it to stop from stalling...

    G'damnit Toyota.

I noticed the exact same thing for me today! Driving in the trails nearby havasu and Parker AZ (heck maybe I saw you on the trail). The wheel hop I take it cause the truck is super light, 2-3k lbs less then most full size trucks. When in 4wd, more traction means less hop. And even tuned, when doing any real off roading, keep it in 4lo (I used it on some technical offshoots and boy was it torquey!, made going up a part that said dirt bikes or jeeps only super easy, also had locker engaged) or suck up the gutless engine and stay in 1st. I want to go 4.88 more everyday that passes...

I was out camping along the Apache trail and Apache lake and dickin' around. Stopped at a saguaro lake OHV staging area and that's where the wheel hop was obnoxiously bad...

I had 2 coolers, 3 sterilite packs, my RCI rack and tent, 14 gallons of water... It had weight... I just don't get it.

I used to have a bronco so im not used to just doing everthing in 4low. I only ever used 4low rot steep techy rocks or rough decents. Everything else the truck had the power to comfortably do it in 4high. The throttle delay and lack of torque is going to kill me someday on this freaking thing.
