help me understand something as i am a total rookie with the tune game. I have been contemplating this tune. I am ok with the truck how it is but there are times that i consider the purchase. However every time I come to this thread and try and read and understand it I get lost. It seems like this is not quite a download and forget about it tune. Seems like quite a bit still needs figuring out? I just don't want to purchase something and then end up having to keep tweaking it every few weeks. If your doing it for fun and love working on your truck, then i get it, but for someone who just wants better throttle response and an even power delivery do i need to constantly load and "fix" things? Thanks for any feedback. I have never tuned a vehicle before and don't want to mess things up. Any thoughts on the effect of the tune on long term dependability of the engine? Thanks again!

It's constantly being improved and bugs are being worked out. The next iteration (1.04) should make everything buttery smooth and throttle response more linear.

Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
You didn’t air down enough. 10-12 psi and wheel hop in loose dirt or sand goes away.

Kind of in a similar train of thought myself. Tuned previous vehicles and they were "set and forget."
Will be watching this like a hawk when v1.04 comes out :)

At a stop hold the TC button down for a few seconds and then let go. That will turn everything off, its the only way the truck drives how you want it on sand and that bog will go away. A single press leaves stability control on. Just keep in mind you now need to properly drive the thing :)

Also even though you dont "need" to air down, you should as the truck drives better aired down, I usually go to 20-22 on sand.

There WILL be things about the new file that not everyone is going to like. Doesn't mean it's a bad tune, just that some don't like it. If you keep waiting for "perfect" results, well you may be waiting a long time.

Custom tunes will be the answer to that.
