I am nearly finished with the MT tune update.

Also I'd like to explain why there was a delay and why things changed from the initial release date.

As far as who is working with me and testing, only a few people now who are either not on the forum or have agreed not to share information before it's necessary. There were some issues of files being shared, getting feedback from people who didn't do any data-logging, along with the feedback being shared as if it is a finalized file, when it's not. The confusion was taken care of but because of that things are now being done differently. As I did with 1.03 for the AT, there will be little information and no additional or "test" access until it is finished. I will be sending the finalized file to a few owners here who have emailed me, before Flash Manager update and final release.

I appreciate everyone waiting patiently for the file to be completed. I want this file to be the last one

@OVTune if the statement regarding issues of files being shared is in reference to the 2T1/2/3 maps, I'm sure that those of us who shared them (myself included) apologize, but I do think that if you had a desire for those maps to remain with only the people you emailed them to, that should have been made clear. In addition, not to badger you or draw too much negative attention to the long update timeline that has been witnessed, but without the request that the test tunes remain with the original recipients, there IS the fact that the argument for simply holding onto them begins to slowly crumble as it becomes more apparent to people that there's a map available that is doing well, is proclaimed to be an improvement, and a number of individuals are ready and waiting to try something that will almost surely fix the issues they're experiencing (based on the info they read in the forums from testers who were not under any sort of NDA).

So, I'll apologize if I'm part of the problem. I shared the 87oct 1.03C 2T3 with 6 active users who have posted numerous times about their issues, and whom also saw much improvement with that test map. But for the benefit of everyone who shared maps, I think there should be a level of understanding, if there isn't already.

The sharing of the files weren't the main issue, and I understand that people want to get something better and have a better running truck. It became an issue when a test file was "concluded" to be finished and as a result some members thought I purposely put out a weak tune and then lied to them about it. I don't want this type of confusion to happen again.

anyways the tune file is nearly complete anyway and likely will publish for people tonight.

^ This is common to any product or service out there. Majority of people like to bitch and complain before they learn to read and comprehend.

I don't like the spreading of the idea that is thread is "better" or that we're "pretentious" or more intelligent or whatever, but it's hard to give the majority of the guys in the alpha thread the benefit of the doubt when it's a damn zoo over there lol the auto trans thread may be better off for all we know though

Definitely didn't mean it that way but theres about 1000 different thread (especially in the 3rd gen forum) to prove the point. I have no doubt the auto is MUCH improved by the tune from what it was when I had one.

Ya, that was the issue I suspect, people thinking a files was complete. I lost count how many times I replied to people whining about that, and informing them that its still a alpha build and that there is active development still being done. I ended up not replying to them anymore. I also add my appoliges for any confusion I may have added.

Thanks for your continued efforts and look forward to the new developments to come.

I've lost track of how many people have completely ignored the fact that this is still in development and just a year ago, there was no tuning of these trucks.

The popularity of this has exploded since the start for sure. People don't want to wait, they just want to click buy and magically their truck is perfect. Thats not how things work in the real world.
