Can't remember where I saw it either Alpha thread or this one, and I can't seem to find it now, but didn't Mat say recently that there's also a PCMFlash update that he recommends using?

NOTE: for testing, please flash truck, allow 10 minute idle.
Test revving in nuetral, from idle to 3500 rpm a few times. allow idle to settle
torque, throttle mapping, and driver demand control maps have been changed on these, it has been tested working BUT PLEASE test safely, as always I recommend an empty road, simple straight drive.
- if you cannot test with a straight empty / dead road without traffic, please do not test.
-please follow provided testing outline. Do not just flash and floor it.
this is to ensure no throttle limit limp (has happened on in the past.... on 04B10)
Driver demand has been improved with various levels of smoothing to keep throttle predictable.

pcmflash update is not required yet, that's with 1.10 flash manager version (pending release)

 

So if I understood your previous posts correctly, the updated program will be available via Flash Manager, rather than separate but required?

 

can't wait to test! but i won't be able to until tonight or tomorrow. looking forward to seeing others' reports.

Looks like I have time on my lunch hour to flash,flashing now then a quick 1 mile commute for testing Lol....I plan on taking my laptop back to work with me. I need to fill up anyway,so I will have a fresh full tank of 91 for logging.

 

Hahaha, my truck decided to do DI maid service about 2 minutes into the idle part of testing. Go figure it would pick that time to clean itself!

 

Flash completed successfully,idling until I head back to work in a bit.

I'm so confused and seem to get lost 20 pages in the past... so sorry for the "is this tune out yet" post but, is the tune out yet? I saw Mat's last post but am confused if the current version of flash manager will download the tune or is the files Mat just listed for testing only?
