    Still waiting on new flash manager, but you can direct download the tune files for now:
    Edit: I see your confusion now. It does sound like these are for final testing purposes.

    If you've tuned your truck in the past already, just grab the correct file for your ecu using the links in Mat's last post, point PCMFlash at that file and flash!

    Initial review of 1.04A.

    My 04B10 equipped 2GR is UNCORKED again.
    No weirdness noted (stutters have not returned);
    Power of 1.03C with good throttle control (maybe just a C hair more sensitive off idle to 1000 rpm than the 1.03C T2 file was);
    35-40 mph back road cruising in 6th with no issue at all;
    Low end and especially midrange torque is back to 1.03 B/C levels;

    MTF over in the review thread once all the trims n shit have settled in (100's of kms).

    :burnrubber: Great work Mat and testers, this file is a good one so far :)

    After my "extensive test drive", 1 mile back to work, I can say without a doubt that the truck still runs:anonymous: in all honesty,I drive this route 4 time a day and am very familiar with how my truck behaves. Initial impression is that throttle is responsive and predictable not too touchy at low rpms and the "drive by wire lag feeling" seems diminished. I was flashed back to 1.03b before flashing this new file and the power is very similar if not more refined. I will be doing a little more "testing" and a log after work.

    87 will be, the 91 tunes are ones that the ECU calculates different torque figures (as all things like vvt, airflow, ignition, fuel, etc go into what is the final torque calculation) so as long as all things match on 91, 87 will be no trouble at all

    OK, took me a while to remember how to start PCM Flash as it does not show up in my applications. Anyway, 1.04A_91 is installed, and I removed the Pedal Commander that I have been running on 1.03B. Will wait until it cools and start it to let it idle from cool. Have kept it on 93 octane since first version of the tune (early adopter). Will report either tonight or tomorrow. PC is riding with me in case of error. Good luck everyone!!!

    I ran 1.04A tonight on the 20 miles home. I also went on a 10ish mile lunchtime drive with 1.03C to calibrate.

    1.04A seems to me to basically be 1.03C with a much more smooth and controllable throttle. No delay (expected that) and no other weirdness noted. I did the 10 minute idle suggestion both times I flashed. I also love how there’s no more rev hang. When you move to neutral or push in the clutch, BAM. Idle. Much more predictable for a seasoned MT driver.

    I did not see a MPG improvement as many of the AT owners have noticed. Maybe I am still in the “honeymoon” phase with the additional power and acceleration.....:D

    One thing to note - it seems engine braking is reduced on 1.04A. I am well acquainted with this since I am in a lot of stop and go traffic every day, and it was definitely reduced from stock levels. I’d like to see more.

    I drive the same road every day...I always used to have trouble at 65mph going up a certain local highway hill. I usually downshifted to 5th to keep from losing speed. On 1.03C and 1.04A both, I am able to accelerate up the same hill, while remaining in 6th gear. TRULY impressed!

    Quick details - 17 OR 04B12 lifted on 285s with 400lb of armor

    I'm just curious about this, what settings were you using on the Pedal Commander and what were you looking to accomplish with it exactly? you know i ran one for months until the Alpha here dropped and i haven't used it since. but for 1.03C I'm curious what you're getting out of it.

    I'm excited that this has dropped the day I placed my order from OVTuned. If I remember correctly the order said it would ship on May 15th, so hopefully by the time I get the kit the 2018 files will be ready!

    @St.Germain - I liked the throttle on 1.03B and so retained it; never flashed 1.03C. I was already running the PC on Sport with attenuation set all the way low when I loaded 1.03B, so I never experienced the tune without the PC. I live in Tampa FL, and run A/C all year except a few nice days, and a good number of mornings in the "winter". No issues with traction on ice / snow around here. I flashed 1.04A today and removed the PC. If I don't the like throttle response I will reinstall the PC and fiddle with the settings to get what I like. Hope this helps!
