No we won't. What @dYL0n did was nothing like this.
This is every morning, day after day, 5:30-6:00am (my time) "iexc" or whoever he or she is posts his or her "I'm awake and I'm here" post. If EVERYONE was to do that, there'd be two pages of nothing but "Look at me, I just woke up" posts to skip through every morning. It may have been cute at first, but it's gone on for too long now. It's getting old... the novelty has worn off.

Over 4-5 tanks I’ve easily gone up 1-2 MPG. I track religiously using Fuelly.

My average over the last few tanks is 17.0, up from 15.6 previously.

Its good to hear that with the tune you are seeing at least an increase in MPG in addition to smoother curves.

It would be suspect if the smoother curves actually killed off some MPGs.

I do feel a small notch in my stock tune curve around 3k, but in reality it isn't so noticable as some folks protray. That and I don't drive much above 2.5k unless squirting gears to get around slow pokes up the hill.

Again, good to see the OV tune isn't sacrificing MPG to accomplish its task.

What did I miss? I just got back from expo west and need to catch up on tw. I've got about 5k on 1.04a now with a significant amount of towing as well.

I think at this point I've put the truck through about everything and it's done great. I can say for certain now, the truck did much better on mountain passes than it did before both up and down. On grades up to about 6% I could hold speed fairly well even with my trailer. Beyond that it would still creep up in speed but I don't think anything is really going to hold speed very well down a 10% grade. Going up was no problem, even at 11k feet.

I don't know Canadian units but I'm averaging 20+ mpg driving at 65-70. Pulling my trailer I've been averaging 14-17mpg.

:rofl: That made my day bro, thanks!

    11.5l/100km = 20.5mpg, 12.5l/100km = 18.8mpg. So my daily commute is 18-20mpg...

8.2L/100km = 28.7 mpg (best ever mileage, seriously grannying it on back roads for a distance of 70km (43.5 miles). No, it's not all downhill with a tailwind. Peggy's cove loop. There's a few guys on here who know that road.

    Yup.

Remember though, I don't have any extra weight and my Duratracs are stock size.

Meh.. no one else seems to mind lol.

Um, do you own a M/T Taco on the side or something? As a limited owner, there's a simple solution to not seeing the  - stay in the alpha/auto trans threads for a treat!

Not trying to argue, just being helpful.

Only thing you missed is me doing the exact same thing (towing heavy on steep grades) on 2 different tanks of premium fuel and getting some knocking. Did you notice any?

I like the daily wave bud, but it's spelled OPPONENT.

As in "opponent of DFCO and REV HANG" .

    Sorry, OCD moment :)
