Enjoying the hell out of 1.04 dead spot at low rpms is gone, that was my biggest complaint about the stock and previous tunes. Waiting patiently for the full power tune Matt mentioned, gas mileage be damned:burnrubber:

I only get about 15-16mpg at best as it is, so I'm right there with you Lol

Although to be fair, it's also due to how i drive my truck and I leave my tires at a lower pressure than many do, because of how often i either off road or head out into the desert for a recovery for someone stuck in the sand

In the same boat, with larger tires, added weight and my short daily commute/city driving I get about the same mileage. Highway is better, about 19-20 but I don't do that very often..

At least you get to blame it on your tires and armor Lol the only extra weight i have on mine are the sliders. Still using stock rubbers and I commute about 13mi each way, Mon-Fri.

The upside to my shitty mileage is I only have a 1 mile commute, 4 miles a day including going home for lunch...lol

Been running 1.04 87 for about 1k miles without issue. I'm debating whether to lose what its learned and try out the 91 tune for fun or just keep going.

    Mostly stuff I built.
I just got back from a 3,000 mile trip from Texas to Colorado and back. Truck was loaded heavy for camping for 7 days. Truck did great for the most part. Fuel mileage average over the trip was 16.7 mpg hand calculated from total trip mileage and total gallons of fuel purchased. Power was good until I got up to 8.5k+ elevation and I could definitely tell a difference. I normally run 93 octane and Lucas fuel additive in my truck but only 91 was available in NM and CO. Loaded the way I was for the trip the only issue I had was pre ignition knock a 4-5 times for a few seconds above 8.5k ft, steep grade, heavy load and 3-5k rpm. If I heard it ping I lifted off the throttle a little and all was well. On the stock tune this trip would have been miserable. Still very pleased with OV Tune.

I would absolutely air up my tires and drive more conservatively if I had something else to haul around besides my fat ass lol

I’d drive less conservatively if I wasn’t averaging 1000 miles a week lol

How long does it typically take to flash the ECU? In DYL0n's video it says 20 mins. I just flashed the 87 file and it took barely over a minute... It said it completed successfully but seems odd there is such a difference in time.
