seeing from your past vehicle list, looks like you shouldn't have a problem acquiring all these mods without donations.

No, it was for the A/T (surging 40-50mph, torque converter blah blah blah auto bullshit). There are no ECU flash TSBs for the manual AFAIK.

Some of us noted what appeared to be a M/T OEM calibration ID (04B12) in that A/T TSB document - which makes no sense.

The TSB had 04B12 listed (the current M/T calibration) with a link to what was listed as new calibration id 04B13. I'm curious what that file is. But yeah, it makes no sense, because the 40-50 mph surge is an A/T thing.

So who’s gonna be the guinea pig to go get it? Maybe there’s something good in there

What’s the interval for oil change? I’m old school. Every 5k.

I would love to try...but I have a lowly old dilapidated outdated dinosaur of a tune at 04b10...:pout:

I would love to drive a 2018 manual to see if it feels any different than my very early 2016.

I'm due for service soon. If you have current OVT version and should dealer upgrade to Toyota's latest tune, would they be able to detect OVT? Or would I need to re-install OEM tune from 1.04, etc version before bringing it in to remain undetected and prevent voiding engine's warranty?

Dealer can't detect anything. No need to flash back to stock.

I'm 04B12 but I won't have any down time for a while to go haggle the dealer to get them to update it. When I got the TSB on my auto, I brought in a copy of the TSB and they had no idea it was even a thing. They eventually flashed for me but it was way more of a PITA than it should have been for the 5 minutes it takes to update the thing.

10k assuming you're going by ToyotaCare.

I'd prefer a change at 5k too, but I'm too lazy and I'm sure not going to pay them for it.

All you MT guys go check out the last couple of posts in the MT fan club. There is a MT TSB that addresses an issue I've always had. Maybe you have it also and want to get it fixed. May be old news but figured I'd mention it amyway.
