haha! yeah wtf who buys a Tacoma MT and then fights with reality for mpg's? a lot of folks around here, apparently. but i am not one of them and i actually haven't broken 20mpg's yet in about 20 months with the truck. if i do someone come and bury me, i'm done.

Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
I absolutely hated the plate bumper I had. This is 90 pounds lighter.

    I hear ya.

I’m perfectly happy with my 16ish mpg out of my 6k lb pig.

Still cheaper than owning and maintaining my 2nd gen Cummins (22-26mpg) I had before it. Not to mention I haven’t even cranked my 4th gen Cummins (16-19 mpg) in 2 months (thinks to self...not really sure why I still own the behemoth).

To me, I can now get plenty of pull in second gear in the low rpms letting me drive this truck like it should have been intended straight out the door. I still get a slight hiccup with WOT in 2nd but a lot less noticeable. I would never go back to stick tune. However now that I have tasted improvement I def want more:). Will probably get OV tune if I can get a little more throttle response and some torque down low, but very happy with new flash!

Help me out here. If I now have a tactrix cable and I purchase OV tune then is it just a matter of downloading it or is it shipped on a disc? I will prob wait to here what people say about the new 1.05 when it drops. But I am very tempted. We shall see.

I get the best fuel economy by staying on the highway at 55 and not shifting :notsure:
