What happens when you shove a 04B11/04B12 calibration down a 04B10 truck's throat lol?

 

Same here - truck was born 09/15, bought it 10/15. You're gonna be 04B10.

 

My was built Oct 16 and bought Nov 16 and is 04b12

 

I'm sure with a bit of sleuthing we could figure out the build date/ECM version correlation..

 

Mine is 9/15 build date...must be a generic way to find out the ecu version

 

Glad to see 1.03 is out ...but I got missed . Sent an email last night, hopefully I will get mine soon, I'm getting excited for this one!

 

I'll assume mine is a B10 as well...and when you say you've got a good behaving GA release of OVT, I'll jump in.

I am still putting miles on it. It hiccups every once in a while but it's still learning ya know. It's getting smoother for sure. The throttle response is amazing though. I have not tried the 87 version. I don't know if I will.

 

I asked but nothing. I'm just going to assume 1.02B is what I get for a OVTune until I hear something otherwise.

 

As soon as I'm in front of my PC I will get you setup with what is confirmed working no issue

I'm not calling you a liar, but how the hell do you get 25+ MPG? Was that 17 miles downhill in a 45mph zone with a tail wind? What is your typical tank fuel economy after 300 miles? I can average 21 if I am very conservative, but typically I am at 19-20.

1.03 tune looks like it will give similar results.

 

You have to keep your RPM below 2k in 6th on flat ground and be very conservative on the gas. I can get that mileage easily under those conditions over a distance of ~40 miles (my mileage loop). Real world daily commute is right around what you're saying -19-20.
That didn't change appreciably from 1.01b to 1.03 (test tune).

End of the day, no mileage hit.

 

Still waiting for an answer on when the software will be available.

 

I usually average about 21mpg per tank when I hand calculate. The dash thing will say 22. I always get 360 miles before fill up which holds about 17 gallons or so. This is middle TN so it's rolling hills. I have steep Hilla coming home. This was a decent flat trip.

 

When can I buy this for my manual?

 

That question seems to go unanswered.

 

How the hell you getting that mpg? My truck is bone stock and I struggle hard to get 17
