certainly sounds like your return spring. let them look at it and if they turn you down and it's the spring, the disk brake grease will fix that 100%, you just need to apply it correctly... if your spring is dry and that's the issue.

A little side bar from the current convo (and a return to an older discussion). The Ovtune website doesn’t have that much info on computer requirements besides it can’t be Mac (I know ppl are using bootcamp) or windows xp.

Are there any memory requirments? I’m assuming the files are not the smallest out there. Would an android based tablet work (assuming irnhad the appropriate number of USB ports?

need windows 7/10 so no Android would not work. Outside of that, its a fairly lightweight application so hard drive/memory/cpu don't really matter.

Now that you mention it, my pedal squeak is gone since I did the accumulator delete. Not sure if it's coincidence or what.

Master cylinder can make noise if they have air bubbles in them. Bleeding might have helped with that?

Has the weather been warmer there? It seems that we have more pedal noises when it is cold. Mine has started clicking while the truck warms up.

It's always warm in South Florida. Our winter was December 17th - 19th where it got in to the high 40's at night. I have noticed that the squeak is gone now.

I spent 8 weeks in Bremerton when I was active duty and I couldn't wait to get out of there!

Geez! It is nicer over there with less people. Too many douchey people in the Seattle-opolis.

I have a dumb question about bleeding the clutch after the accumulator delete..

Would it make any difference if I had the bleeder valve cracked slightly when I have my helper remove the clamp from the resevoir line up top?

Maybe over thinking this, but perhaps if the air had somewhere to go until the fluid began to run out, maybe it would be a bit easier... dunno.

I mean then I just close the valve and carry on with the rest of the process..

I did the gravity method when I did mine but didn't clamp the rubber line by the reservoir so I could drain all the fluid and refill with new fluid. Once I had the new line installed at the top (to the flex line) I filled the reservoir and let the line fill with fluid before connecting to the cylinder. I then topped off the reservoir and filled as my son worked the clutch pedal. Took maybe 3 or 4 pumps.

There are dumb questions. That wasn't one?

Even with my larger-ish clamp, it didn't completely close off the flow, which helped. I think.

I was also in there for a long while modding that elbow and had no problems with air. You're gonna be in and out in minutes. I did connect the upper fitting first to allow it to fill, so there was very little air in there.

Cracking the slave nipple won't hurt.

I don't think it will hurt. The big this is to be sure the valve is closed when the pedal is moving up.
