Also remember that if you have the TRD OR, the brake master does some super cool auto-bleed or pressurization function on initial startup which helps in the bleeding process. I learned that when I redid my brakes.

I think they are connected in the booster somewhere because I had to add fluid to the brake reservoir also when I did my clutch line.

 

That's weird. I thought the clutch res just goes straight through the firewall to the master on the OR / Pro? I don't think I saw any in the lines when digging through the parts diagrams?

I can attest to the electric assisted braking in the OR. It is a little unsettling the first few times you turn the key on, if you have never had that in a vehicle before.
I didn't bother to trace the tubing after it disappeared into the firewall. I never thought to check the level in the brake reservoir when I did the work. Now my curiosity is piqued, and I am going to have a look in the morning

 

I can't even trace the hard line side on my Sport.

 

Funny story, I was flying a Falcon 2000LXS not too long ago and with it being a French built aircraft, the audible cues it gives aren't so american. We were on descent into Little Rock and the CAS spoke out "RETARD, RETARD" telling us to reduce throttle. The guy I was flying with looked at me and said "He's talking to you"

 

LOL I may have to try and find a snippet of that, and use it as the ring tone for certain of my work associates.

Separate reservoir as Tony said on OR.. last time I looked anyway!

 

Anyone use a 1 way check valve/bleed valve successfully? I have one in my toolbox just never used it lol

 

I've used the $4 One Man Bleeder bottles in the past. Basically just a tube in a bit of fluid so that it doesn't suck air. It works great for brakes. Clutches are different. There is no return spring in the master. So, you loose system pressure.

 

i use a 2/4, 2/2 or pipe, even a snow brush about 2' long wedged between the peddle and the drivers seat witch is also adjustable.go down bleed ,seal then remove wedge pump the peddle replace wedge and repeat.

 

No one using vacuum bleeders?
