Yaaaas. I feel like a 16 year old but I just ordered the new Injen EVO intake so I can hear it breath at 7k!

I've learned my lesson. I regret it every time I put exhaust on something. I'm actually hoping the intake isn't overly obnoxious. I'll ditch it in a heartbeat if it is.

I can't wait to see what a custom tune will do with my exhaust system. URD cat delete Y pipe feeding through a 2 1/2" x 18" spiral louvered glasspack into the Flowmaster American Thunder dual outlet. Right now it flows and sounds great IMO. No drone at cruising sppeds and a nice growl low down with a snarl up top:burnrubber:

Ok,who has done the accumulator delete and how long did it take you? Keep in mind I turn wrenches for a living and will be doing this at work on my hoist. I am going to do the dremel bypass method.

ETA I am just wondering if this is something I could knock out over my lunch hour...

Nice!! Glad someone else is gonna do it this way! Took me 2 hrs. Worst part is the 4 bolts that hold the shield on (specifically the top bolt).

Service manual says remove the front drive shaft. I did not do that.

Yeah. No need to remove the drive shaft. Taking out the exhaust bracket makes dealing with heat shield a piece of cake and gives a lot of working room around the accumulator.

Yep, and I found that removing the exhaust bracket helped with access as well (you don't have to, but I found it made things easier).

Edit: oops, Tony beat me to it lol

I think it took @Shellshock about a week?

And now that I've said this, I'm bound to run into issues too when I finally get around to doing mine.

I may not even have the exhaust bracket now with the URD system in. It's been a couple weeks since I have been under to take a look. I may give it a go since I am dead at work today...

I'm currently back to the accumulator life. Not because the delete didn't work but because the shop apparently missed the memo on replacing it after I swapped it back trying to figure out what the issue was. I'll deal with it later, I was ready to get my truck back.
